They perform the “exact” same way a turntable does, with the obvious added bonuses.(CD\MP3 multiple outputs etc…)You can even use the vinyl & the CD at the same time!In my opinion Numark was stupid for discontinuing these. But then again Numark seems to discontinue everything a few months after release.Gemini also makes a similar model.

The reason they are …
The reason they are so cheap at HTFR is because we want to be the cheapest DJ store out there and have the buying power to pass on the savings to the customer. Not because the Laser in the CD part is unreliable. In fact you get a full years warrenty with the unit. As for trying it out, you can try it out in the HTFR megastore located in Birmingham City Centre which may be possible for you to get to from your location.

can some1 who’s got a piar of x2 please put a useful vid on youtube! mabey a juggle using the virtural record? basically i really want a piar but all the vids ive watched are wack and dont do the decks any favours! and all the reviews ive read make them sound like belt drive decks with a cdj stuck to the side! y they half price at HTFR? i heard its co the lazor on the CDJ is unrelyable! is there anywhere i can try b4 i buy (southwest UK). peace out

No, to do that you’d need a mixer that has those inputs as this does not come with any digital inputs.

There are no flight …
There are no flight cases available at the moment to hold the Numark X2’s as they require a removable panel for the cd slot. There are various companies who specialise in custom built cases who may be able to help.

i dunno wot wud be best??? the numark x2 or the stanton package in ya catalogue for £380 coz it has a 4 channel mixer but more into scratching. which one of the two wud u recomend for my style in dj’ing???

The way it works is …
The way it works is you have the turntable on one channel and the cd part on another. This means you can mix and scratch on the one unit. Where as before you would have needed a seperate turntable or cd deck.
